Vietjet’s Debut Flights Between Siem Reap and Hanoi

Siem Reap, December 17, 2023 – In a festive celebration marking the end of the year and the arrival of 2024, Vietjet proudly inaugurated its inaugural flight connecting the historic city of Siem Reap with Vietnam's capital, Hanoi.

Vietjet's maiden flight from Hanoi to Siem Reap received a warm welcome from Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport's business leaders, Vietjet representatives, local residents, and tourists alike. Passengers on this inaugural Vietjet flight were greeted with unique gifts, flowers, and a traditional local welcoming ceremony. Prior to the launch of the Hanoi-Siem Reap route, the Prime Ministers of Vietnam and Cambodia extended their congratulations and expressed their belief that this new route would enhance and strengthen the connection between the two neighboring countries.

The Siem Reap-Hanoi route operates seven return flights per week, with a flight time of 1 hour and 45 minutes for each leg, providing convenient and easy travel between the two destinations. This is expected to boost tourism and expand trade between Vietnam and Cambodia. The daily flight departs from Siem Reap's new airport (SAI) at 19:05 and arrives at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) at 20:50. Flights from the Vietnamese capital leave Hanoi at 16:20 and touch down in Siem Reap at 18:05 (all in local time).
